The Cattery

The cattery is situated in a quiet area of the garden. We have nine pens available. All the pens have a heated sleeping area. All pens are furnished with a cat scratcher, soft blankets and plenty of toys. You are welcome to bring your cats favourite toy and a small blanket to remind them of home if you wish. Our pens are both chalet and the penthouse type and we have sizes suitable for one, two three or four cats sharing (from the same family). We can board a maximum of 17 cats and if permitted by the cats, they are groomed daily. We can assure continuity of care to be provided by Diane and assisted by her mum, Amanda.

Requirements

  • All cats must be vaccinated, flead and wormed up to date and their up to date vaccination certificate must be seen before boarding.
  • No unneutered males over 6 months of age will be boarded.
  • Please bring your cats usual food and treats to last for the duration of their stay.
  • When booking your cat in for the first time, a visit and deposit are required.
  • Payments by cash, cheque or bank transfer only.
  • Please bring your cat in a secure carrier.

Small Pet Boarding

We can accommodate both indoor and outdoor guinea pigs. Other small furries or birds must bring their own cage. Pets food must be provided, but we can provide fresh fruit/vegetables if necessary. All small pets are cared for by Diane.

General Information

  • We charge a full days rate for all days booked, including the day of arrival and day of collection. Should you collect your cat before the due day of collection, payment will still be required for all days booked.
  • If you need to make any alterations or change the dates of your booking, please let us know at least 7 days before due arrival date.
  • Please note, if a booking is cancelled 7 days, or less, before the due arrival date, we require payment for 50% of the total amount for the booked stay.
  • If a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, we require payment in full for the booked stay.
  • Cash, cheques or bank transfer only for payment.
  • We are a licensed animal boarding establishment and insured with Cliverton.
  • We board up to 17 cats.

Cats

  • Only same family members are boarded together.
